To all Members,
It is my honor that you have elected me to be your new President for the next two years. Just to be mentioned with the men that came before me is overwhelming to me. I will do my best to uphold the tradition that many men set forth long ago. From the western days to the present time, the 8th Cavalry Regiment has set a standard that is matched by none. As we move forward through time, all the accomplishments of the past, present and future will be there for people to see and in most cases the names of the men and women who made this unit so great.
So as we grab the reins, listen to the rotation of the blades and the rumble of the tanks, destiny is ours as we move on further into the future to make more history. No matter what, you are part of the greatest unit that we are all very very proud of, for ourselves and our children and grandchildren.
Remember these words that we live by ….. HONOR AND COURAGE.
